# 8.8.0 — 25 June 2026

What changed in Dispel in the release of 25 June 2026.

**Dispel Zero Trust Engine 8.8.0**, including Orchestrator 1.16.0.

{% hint style="info" %}
[**Customer Impact Score: 2**](https://legal.dispel.com/support/maintenance-windows#customer-impact-scores) — visible changes and new features, without a substantial change to the workflows most people use.
{% endhint %}

## New features and improvements

* [Compliance](https://docs.dispel.com/secure-and-govern/overview/supported-frameworks) adds NIST 800-171 Rev 3, NIST 800-82 Rev 3 and CISA CPG 2.0, records the version of each framework, and includes the evidence for a control — and the period it covers — in the OSCAL and CSV exports. (DIS-20941, DIS-20969, DIS-20967, DIS-21250)
* Recording playback lets you resize the timeline and the side panel, resets either with a double-click, and highlights the activity that is playing. (DIS-21240, DIS-21239, DIS-21241)
* A device's unique identifier can be set from the [bulk CSV upload](https://docs.dispel.com/build-your-environment/infrastructure/device-management/create-a-device), and identifiers are unique within an organization rather than across all of them. (DIS-21256, DIS-19310)
* A facility name can be up to 128 characters. (DIS-21202)

## Bug fixes

* Deleting a group could report success without deleting it. (DIS-21133)
* Making an [access window](https://docs.dispel.com/connect-to-your-systems/access-windows) showed only the first 50 facility members, and the date picker could open blank. (DIS-21466, DIS-20943)
* An SMB file share could be created without the credentials it needs, with no way to add them afterwards. (DIS-21359)
* Pinch-zooming a Browser Connect session on iOS could reload it, the Connect button could overflow on a phone, and the remaining time could push the session controls off the screen. (DIS-21150, DIS-21189, DIS-21190)
* Topology could stop responding while loading unassigned subnets, the tree could break when clicked around, and a facility could render without its region during a search. (DIS-21365, DIS-21369, DIS-20940, DIS-21560)
* Historical HTTP and HTTPS connections could not be filtered by date range. (DIS-18925)
* **General bug and security fixes** across permission handling, file share visibility, transfer naming, integration sync jobs, recording markers and columns, Topology's map and badges, and the groups and settings layouts.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.dispel.com/changelog/releases/2026-06-25.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
