# Recover

### Planning (RC.RP)

NIST Definition: *Recovery processes and procedures are executed and maintained to ensure restoration of systems or assets affected by cybersecurity incidents.*

| **Section**                                                                                               | **How Dispel Helps**                                                                                                                                           |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
|
RC.RP-1

Recovery plan is executed during or after a cybersecurity incident.
| Dispel's network can rapidly stand back up in matter of seconds or minutes, significantly increasing resiliency of organization and limiting business impacts. |

### Communications (RC.CO)

NIST Definition: *Restoration activities are coordinated with internal and external parties (e.g. coordinating centers, Internet Service Providers, owners of attacking systems, victims, other CSIRTs, and vendors).*

| **Section**                                                                                                                                                 | **How Dispel Helps**                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
|
RC.CO-3

Recovery activities are communicated to internal and external stakeholders as well as executive and management teams.
| Dispel network can provide off channel, secure, and backup communications to allow simple rapid communications and coordination across organization, teams as well as third party support personnel. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.dispel.com/regulatory-framework-mappings/nist-csf-1.1/recover.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
